The Other Side of The World

Thought I have flown,

Thought I have landed,

In greener pasture on the other side of the world,

But it was all a lie.

 

Fairyland thought I was brought to,

Instead I saw the other side of the world,

The side where the innocent children wouldn’t see,

A side where all human greed appears.

 

Kindness was treated like a fool,

Gratefulness was not seen in the eyes of man,

Money was the only thing in their mind,

For their only dream was to be rich in this land of material.

 

How the world has change in my sight,

For one second things was so clean and clear,

But all has change,

Now money has become the reason to live for many.
